Blockchain & Smart Contracts Engineer (Solidity + Python) [+Rust]
We are looking for an expert Smart Contracts Developer to join our core team. This role offers exceptional challenges and rewards, building cutting-edge products and protocols in the blockchain space. You will be part of an innovative team developing decentralized applications (dApps), complex smart contract architectures, and backends that interface with various blockchain technologies.
Responsibilities
- Smart Contract Design & Development
- Architect and implement complex Solidity-based solutions across multiple product verticals
- Write and optimize Solidity code for speed, efficiency, and minimal gas costs
- Own the entire smart contract development workflow (testing, deployment, monitoring, alerts, etc.)
- Backend & Python Integration
- Develop and maintain Python backends that interact with Ethereum or other blockchain smart contracts
- Create supporting modules for outward-facing applications and client protocols
- Rust / Non-EVM Blockchains
- Design and implement Rust-based smart contracts on non-EVM chains (Solana, Stellar) as needed
- Contribute to cross-chain or multi-chain infrastructure
- AI-Driven Development (Plus)
- Collaborate on projects utilizing AI agent development or AI-driven orchestration
- Integrate AI functionalities where appropriate to enhance efficiency, testing, or protocol design
- Complex Deployments & L2 Solutions
- Develop deployment methodologies for large-scale, multi-contract systems
- Implement complex contract architectures on L2 solutions such as Starknet/Cairo
- Collaboration & Growth
- Work alongside a decentralized team across multiple geographies
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in blockchain, AI, and cryptography
- Bring new ideas to the table and maintain a rapid learning and iteration pace
Required Programming Languages & Frameworks:
- Solidity (2+ years)
- Typescript (2+ years)
- Python (2+ years) - for backend code interfacing with smart contracts
- JavaScript
- Truffle, Hardhat, Tenderly
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer
- 2+ years of production-grade experience writing and delivering Solidity Smart Contracts
- 2+ years of production-grade experience in dApp development
- Deployed multiple running contracts on the Ethereum Blockchain
- Experience writing test cases for developed smart contract functions (automated coverage, migration tests)
- Strong understanding of best-in-class testing methodologies
- Up-to-date with the latest tech in blockchain, crypto, and decentralized computing
- Strong passion for building blockchain-based systems
- Ability to write clean, optimized, and testable code
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Rust development for non-EVM blockchains (e.g., Solana, Stellar), blockchain infrastructure, or cross-chain projects
- Experience with AI-driven development, AI agent development, or AI agent orchestration
- Experience in cryptocurrency & blockchain ecosystems (exchanges, cross-chain bridges, marketplace development, etc.)
- Working knowledge of L2 solutions like Starknet/Cairo, zk-rollups, zk proofs, SNARKS, STARK-based rollups
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Fast and agile thinker with strong attention to detail and passion for clear communication
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Team player capable of working independently when necessary familiarity with FHE frameworks, verifiable execution environments with blockchain based attestations (e.g phala network)
